The verb construction "Hace + period of time + que + present tense conjugated verb" is useful to express how long you've been doing something. It is especially useful to new Spanish learners because you needn't know how to conjugate verbs in the past tense to express a past meaning.  |

Spanish II, I, Preschool & Elementary Spanish Make a point to have your kids reading or even looking at 20 minutes of Spanish material every day this summer. There are excellent resources in a separate section at the North Columbus and Main libraries: books, videos, and DVDs. There is also a great section at Barnes & Noble and some interesting things available at Lifeway (the only place I’ve found good music in Spanish for kids in town so far). Start working on Spanish Pronunciations now so you and your child will have a jump on the school year. ¡Que vayan a todo el mundo!
