A $25 class materials fee for new students and $15 class materials fee for returning students will be collected at the time of registration to cover the cost of the student's text, on-going website updates, listening files, various handouts, and 2 class parties that will be provided over the course of the year.  Paying this fee will guarantee your spot(s) in the next session of classes.  Textbooks may be sold back to the instructor at the end of the year for $7.50, or you may choose to keep your text.  Used workbooks will be yours to keep with no buy-back option.

Only new students will need to fill out a new registration form at registration.  Parents of current students may let the instructor know about their intention to continue at any class or by email and pay their class materials fee at that time.  It is the responsibility of all continuing students to make Señora Raquel aware of any change in contact information and pertinent medical conditions.

Tuition

Tuition is payable in advance. You may pay ahead as far in advance as you like and receive credit toward future classes. Please read below according to your specific class's requirements for payment due dates and amounts (i.e. group class, private tutoring, or afternoon class).

Late Fees
Effective March 29, 2009, a late fee of $10 will be added to any tuition payment not received within 3 days of the posted due date for your/your child's class as noted below or shown on the current
Class Schedule.

Group Class Tuition

The following discounted rates*, depending on how many students are in a given family, are offered for the 10 months from August to May:
       $45 per month for each 1st child
       $37 per month for each 2nd child
       $28 per month for each add’l child

(Total Family Monthly Rates:  1 child = $45/mo., 2 children = $82/mo., 3 children = $110/mo., 4 children = $138/mo., 5 children = $166/mo.)

Class Tuition Due Dates
You are expected to continue any class you register for throughout the school year. If you are unable to do so for any reason, please give at least 30 days' notice as a courtesy to the instructor and other students. Class fees will be due on the first class day of each month (see “
Calendar” for due dates).  The monthly rate has been prorated to include all scheduled weeks of class days throughout the year, so you will pay the same amount each month regardless of how many class days are in that particular month.

Afternoon Class Installments

*Monthly rates do not apply for Afternoon Middle School Spanish only: $25 class materials fee and registration form due by December 15th. 1st installment of $120 due on January 4th. 2nd installment of $120 due on March 15th.

Installments are based on the 20 weeks of class dates available between January 4-May 24, 2010 and are paid in two 10-week installments. Students are assumed to continue throughout the 20 weeks, and the installments are divided as a courtesy to the group.

Private Tutoring

Say Hola to Spanish connects with Colombia

Private tutoring is arranged to fit your schedule best. All sessions are held in my home in Windsor Park. See our Classes page for the latest available dates for 2009-2010. The current rate for private tutoring sessions is $50 per hour. Payments must be received on or before the date of each scheduled session. A 5% discount is available for advance payments for any 6 sessions or more. Cancellations of any or all sessions must be made with 24-hours notice.
