A $25 class materials fee will be collected at the time of registration to cover the cost of the student's text, on-going website updates, listening files, and various handouts that will be provided over the course of the year. Textbooks may be sold back to the instructor at the end of the year for $7.50, or you may choose to keep your text. Used workbooks will be yours to keep with no buy-back.
Only new students will need to fill out a new registration form at registration. Parents of current students may let the instructor know about their intention to continue at any class or by email and pay their class materials fee at that time. It is the responsibility of all continuing students to make Señora Raquel aware of any change in contact information and pertinent medical conditions.
Class Fees
The following discounted rates, depending on how many students are in a given family, are offered for the 10 months (36 group classes) from August to May:
$37.00 per month for each 1st child
$29.60 per month for each 2nd child
$22.20 per month for each add’l child
(Total Family Monthly Rates: 1 child = $37/mo., 2 children = $66.60 /mo., 3 children = $88.80/mo., 4 children = $111/mo., 5 children = $133.20/mo.)
Included in this amount is an allowance for 1 absence per student and 1 absence (tba) for the instructor over the entire year. This means, if you don’t miss any days all year, you’ve gotten 1 class for FREE. If you miss 1, you’ve already been discounted for it. No individual discounts will be given for absences.
Class fees will be due on the first class day of each month (see “Calendar” for due dates). The monthly rate has been prorated to include all 36 weeks of class days (37 calendar weeks with 1 week allowance for instructor absence) throughout the year, so you will pay the same amount each month regardless of how many class days are in that particular month.
